So you got yourself a Blackberry PDA phone. Welcome to the wonderful world of anytime anywhere access to information. Blackberry has been putting a significant amount of effort into making these devices more feature rich over the past couple years and overall I am impressed with their progress as they have moved the devices from a really cool phone to a PDA powerhouse.

The trick with any PDA phone is to understand the best way to use it. Many users get them and may become frustrated with the number of actions they need to take to complete a task on them. Fortunately these devices have tons of short cuts you can use. With a little practice and change in mentality on how you do things you can save some skin on your fingertips.

I have hunted around the Internet to find quality articles on Tips and Tricks for Blackberrys and our friends at blackberryforums.com have once again saved the day. The link below is to an article on their site that is a compiled list of the best Tips and Tricks for your Blackberry.

Here are a couple tricks that are outlined in the article to give you a taste of what you may be missing.

  1. Press the space key twice to insert a period and capitalize the next letter in the sentence.
  2. Press the space key to insert the "@" and "." characters in an Email field.

Take some time to put these to practice and you will be a true crackberry user on the road to saving time, getting more done and giving your thumbs a rest.
