Adding a SharePoint Site to Outlook as a Folder
| Overview: This is useful for people who want to be able to access their SharePoint site from within Outlook.Procedure:
Launch and Login into Outlook Right click on your Outlook INBOX and choose New Folder Name the new folder, for example SharePoint Simply find the new folder within your Outlook folder list, right click on your new SharePoint folder and choose properties Within the SharePoint Properties folder choose Home Page. Check off “Show home page by default for this folder”. Type out the address of your SharePoint URL: For Example: http://sp.yourdomainname..com/ Click apply to the SharePoint Property folder Now double click on your new SharePoint sub-folder and Login with your username and password, your site will then launch within Outlook. |
