When you run the Cleanup, you have a choice to clean up a Conversation, clean up Folder or Clean up Folder & Subfolders.

Once you run this all of your emails will be grouped into conversations based on the subject of the mail

When clicking on Clean up Conversation, you will be prompted with the following.

We suggest reviewing and adjusting the settings before you run the clean up, click settings from the prompt

Or go to File, Options, Mail to view Conversation Clean up settings. Adjust the settings to your liking and click on browse to choose what folder you would like the email to be sent too.

For this example, we created a folder called Conversation Test.

Click on Clean up Conversation

When the Cleanup is done, view the emails within the folder you have choosen to direct them to, if the clean found no email related to each other you will get a prompt indicating so.

August 6, 2010 — Link2Exchange of Dover, NH announced today that it has renewed its Microsoft Gold Partner Certification with two new competencies in Hosting & Business Intelligence continuing its commitment to the Microsoft Hosted services offering. Microsoft Gold Partners have access to an extensive set of benefits from Microsoft to aid in the support, expansion and integration of their service offerings. Having been a Microsoft Partner for over 5 years Link2Exchange is no stranger to the continued education and customer satisfaction requirements to remain a partner and has shown this again by meeting the stringent requirements of the Microsoft Gold Partner Program for 2010.

“In our last Microsoft Customer Satisfaction Survey our clients scored us in the 95th percentile against all other Microsoft Partners. It was insightful to find that over 93% of our customers surveyed are considered product champions of ours and are likely to not only repurchase our services but also recommend us to others. In a service based business this is critical to successful long term relationships with our clients and shows that they really consider us to be a critical technology partner,” said Ken McDavitt CEO of Link2Exchange.

“As a company we are committed to rolling out additional Microsoft services by the end of the year including Hosted Exchange 2010 and Microsoft OCS. The goal is to continue to bring together the entire Microsoft suite of services under one unified service offering; providing small to mid-sized businesses with a completely integrated hosted solution based on best of breed Microsoft technologies, superior support and carrier grade quality of service,” said Ken McDavitt. “Earlier this year we also introduced Virtual Private Servers using the Microsoft Hyper-V platform and have had significant adoption with our existing dedicated server and colocation customer base due to the cost savings, increased security and reliability virtualization offers. We are very excited about the Microsoft Partnership and for what the next 12 months will bring for us and our customers.”

About Link2Exchange

With the Blackberry, you can be notified of incoming emails with a tone, vibration or both. Sometimes when you look at your mail after being notified, it may appear that there are no new messages.Typically this problem occurs when you pull your handheld out of its holster to silence the notification and then put it back in the holster. The Blackberry opens the new message by default when you pull it out of the holster and closes it when you put it back in. This action causes the message to be listed as ‘Read’ instead of ‘Unread’. The message is still there, however. Just open the most recent message and it’ll be the new one even though it’s marked as having been previously read

Mac OS X Snow Leopard Now as Built-In Support for Apple Mail, iCal, and Address Book Syncing to Exchange

Snow Leopard is the first Mac Operating System with built-in support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 allowing you to truly collaborate with your partners and colleagues through “anywhere access” using your native Apple Mail, iCal, and Address Book applications.

Snow Leopard Exchange Calendaring & Presence Solutions for Apple iCal & Address Book

Easily and efficiently connect with others through sharing and meeting scheduling tools with iCal and Address Book.

Get shared calendaring and scheduling features through iCal and set up meetings effortlessly with group scheduling and availability tracking.

Manage your Address Book by creating a shared list of contacts and distribution groups.

How it works

Additional software installations are not needed (i.e. Entourage). Just configure your system through the Accounts pane in Apple Mail, enter your Exchange user name and password, and check the box to automatically set up your other applications. Apple Mail uses the Autodiscover feature in Exchange to grab all the pertinent information from the Exchange server and configure your settings.

Adding an Exchange 2007 (EWS) account to Mail

Most Exchange servers have Auto discovery enabled, authoritative Exchange 2007 accounts can be easily configured if your domains DNS provider creates an Auto discovery record.

Auto Discover setup for Outlook/APPLE Mail and Exchange 2007:

How to setup your account:

Open Mail (click its icon in the Dock, or open it in the Applications folder).

*From the Mail menu, choose Preferences.

*Click Accounts in the toolbar.

*Click the + icon. The “Add Account” sheet appears.

*Enter your real name, email address, and password; click Continue. If Autodiscovery is enabled through your DNS provider, the setting should automatically populate.

Note:If the Exchange server Autodiscovery does not complete, you will need to manually fill in your mail server information fields mentioned below.

Setup Manually:

The “Incoming Mail Server” sheet appears.

Enter the following:

Account Type: Exchange 2007

Description: (optional)

Email Address: your-exchange-email-address

Internal server: mail.yourserver.net

External Server: (leave blank)

User Name: Your OMA Username

Password: Your account password

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.youserver.net

Check Use only this server

By default, the BlackBerry will only sync items which are stored in your Inbox wirelessly. If you have set up server-side rules in Outlook to send e-mail to a subfolder other than your Inbox or you move a message from the Inbox to another folder then it will disappear from your BlackBerry. Although the BlackBerry does have a feature where you can show the folders on the server, it will not sync messages in those folders by default. You must configure the BlackBerry to sync subfolders. These instructions are for BlackBerry’s that are on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server using Microsoft Exchange.

Only messages received after you perform the following steps will sync to your BlackBerry. Any messages filed previously will not be stored on the BlackBerry handheld even after you set the folder redirection properties.

Procedure:

On your BlackBerry home screen, click Messages.

Click the MENU then scroll down and click Reconcile Now. This will ensure that you have a full list of all current Exchange folders on your BlackBerry.

Click the MENU then scroll down and click Options.

Scroll down and click on Email Settings.

Click the MENU then scroll down and click Folder Redirection. (This may take a while to load if you have a lot of folders.)

Scroll down to ‘Mailbox – Your Name’.

If you want to sync all of your Outlook folders (except Deleted Items)…

Click the MENU then scroll down and click Select All..

Click the MENU then scroll down and click Save..

If you want to select which Outlook folders to sync to your BlackBerry…

Click the MENU then scroll down and click Expand to see a list of folders..

Scroll down to each folder you want to sync and hit the Space key to select it.

If the folder has subfolders then the Space key won’t select it, you’ll have to click the menu then click Change Option.

If the folder you want to click on has a + sign next to it, click the menu then click Expand to see a list of subfolders.

Once you’ve finished selecting the folders you want to sync, click the menu then click Save.

Hit the Escape key on the BlackBerry (located just under the menu) to return to the Messages list.

IMPORTANT: Any time you add a new folder on the server that you want to sync to your BlackBerry, you must use this procedure to select it for synchronization. By default the folder will not sync. Remember to perform this procedure BEFORE you move messages into this folder if you want them to be visable on your BlackBerry.

To view your filed messages…

In the BlackBerry Messages screen, click the menu then click View Folder.

Scroll down and highlight the folder you wish to view.

Click the menu then click Select Folder.

If no messages are there (and you know some have been put there since you configured the folder for wireless sync, click the menu then click Reconcile Now.
