Click here to begin the integration process.

If there is an issue with integrating the email account, you may be asked to provide further information. Type the email address and password again if the information was typed incorrectly, or manually provide the settings to integrate the email account by clicking I will provide the settings to add this email account, and then clicking Next.

If you chose I will provide the settings to add this email account, you must identify the integration as either a work or a personal email account by clicking the appropriate option, and clicking Next.

NOTE: For exchange 2007 and 2010 users, the Autodiscover service uses a user’s e-mail address or domain account to automatically configure the user’s profile or the servers offline address book from the server. If you require this service, email your exchange provider and they can supply you with the correct DNS settings for your name server.

The iPhone uses ActiveSync to sync your exchange mailbox’s Email, Contacts, and Calendar.

Important Note: When you configure a device to sync with Exchange, all existing calendar and contact information on the device is overwritten, it is recommend that you backup your data. Additionally, iTunes no longer syncs contacts and calendars with your desktop computer. You can still sync your device wirelessly with MobileMe services.

Procedure:

To synchronize your iPhone to your you@yourdomain.com exchange account, follow these instructions.

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then tap Add Account.

Tap Microsoft Exchange.

Note, you can configure only one Exchange account per device

When you manually configure the device for Exchange, use this chart to identify the settings and information you enter:

Email:Enter in your Exchange accont
Domain:Enter in your Exchange Domain
Username:Enter your OMA address:
Password:Enter in your password
Description:

Your iPhone (or iPod touch) will now try to locate your Exchange server using Microsoft’s Autodiscovery service. If the server cannot be located, the screen below is shown. Enter your Exchange server’s complete address in the Server field. Contact your Microsoft Exchange server administrator or hosted exchange provider if you are unsure of the address.

Email: Enter in your Exchange accont
Server:Enter in your Exchange accont
Domain:Enter in your Exchange Domain
Username:Enter your OMA address:
Password: Enter in your password
Description:

Next, the device offers to immediately sync with the Exchange server. If you choose not to sync at this time, you can turn on calendar and contact syncing later in Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. By default, Exchange ActiveSync pushes new data to your device as it arrives on the server. If you prefer to fetch new data on a schedule or to only pull new data manually, use Settings > Fetch New Data to change the settings.

If you wish to change how many days’ worth of emails are synchronized to your device, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendars. The default setting is three days.

Link2Exchange now supports Outlook & PDA wireless syncing for Android based smart phones. Current supported models include the Verizon DROID, T-Mobile CLIQ, Sprint HTC Hero, Sprint Samsung Moment & Motorola BACKFLIP.

January 20, 2010 — Android slinging business professionals looking for a richer, more integrated email & PDA phone experience can now get Microsoft Exchange mailboxes with full support for synchronizing their Outlook with their Android based PDA phones wirelessly over the cellular network. This solution; starting at $12.45/month, greatly simplifies your life by syncing your Outlook email, calendar & contacts between your Android PDA phone & Microsoft Outlook in real-time over the mobile cellular data network. Users can also synchronize all of their Outlook data between multiple computers; like a desktop & laptop for example. Macintosh users can take advantage of this service with full support for Entourage & Snow Leopard Apple Mail syncing.

Companies with multiple employees will appreciate the ability to share Outlook data with co-workers 24×7. “Calendar sharing is a major driver for these services in the business market. Assistants & coordinators can now view & update bosses & co-workers calendars in real-time. Imagine adding an appointment to your PDA phone while out of the office & within seconds your assistant & co-workers can see the new appointment. This is a simple concept but a necessity for the mobile professionals of today,” states Matthew Palis the VP of Sales & Marketing for Link2Exchange.

Link2Exchange is offering a 30 day free trial for the countless number of Verizon customers who don’t know where to turn as their SMTP relay service is shut off September 1st. BlackBerry customers can even take advantage of a limited time 6 month free trial of Link2Exchange’s BlackBerry Enterprise Server which provide wireless syncing and push email to your BlackBerry.

September 3, 2009 — The Termination of Verizon’s SMTP relay Service has many people not only confused but up in arms. The reality is this has been an age old problem for business email users on a POP type mail server. What people really need is one email service provider that handles all the sending and receiving of their email regardless of which network they are connected to or what desktop or mobile device they want to use email on.

Hosted Exchange with Link2Exchange solves this by handling all sending and receiving of email whether you are using Microsoft Outlook or Entourage. “Since all Microsoft Exchange email uses standard SSL encryption it will pass over any internet provider or cellular provider without issue with no need to change SMTP servers when you change networks.” You can even have multiple POP email addresses forwarded to your hosted exchange mailbox and manage them easily. It also provides push email and wireless syncing of your email, calendar, contacts, tasks and notes between Outlook on multiple computers and your popular smart phones likes the BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, iPhone, Palm or Symbian.

In today’s e-World email addresses are as important of an identity to an individual or business professional as their driver’s license or mailing address. Once you’ve given it out to hundreds of business associates, friends, banks, email lists, etc, it becomes a nightmare to change and update everyone. The solution is to register your own domain name and then choose a reliable hosted exchange provider like Link2Exchange. This will ensure you never lose your email address and provide the flexibility to host with any company and maintain your identity even to your mobile device.

Link2Exchange is based on Microsoft’s hosted models for Exchange and Sharepoint combined with mobile synchronization such as BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server), Windows Mobile and Good Mobile Messaging for mobile Synchronization.

August 12, 2009 — Seacoast Telecom, a Hosted Solutions Provider specializing in business email messaging and collaboration solutions, d/b/a Link2Exchange, announced today that it will begin offering new subscribers 6 months free BlackBerry Synchronization (BES) services when combined with its Hosted Exchange services.

Link2Exchange is based on Microsoft’s Hosted Exchange and SharePoint Services combined with mobile to Outlook wireless synchronization for BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile, Palm and Symbian PDA Phones.

“We have always believed that small businesses need that competitive edge to be successful. Offering 6 months FREE BlackBerry wireless sync during tough economic times not only saves business owners money but enables their teams to be more productive and reactive in their competitive environments” says Stephen Viel, CEO of Seacoast Telecom. “Waiving the cost of the first 6 months of BES service, setup and licensing fees represents a savings of approximately $100 per subscriber. Cost of entry is typically the barrier that prevents small business owners from embracing new technology – now their whole team can try it free and see for themselves.”
