How Can I Have My Windows Mobile Phone Constantly Stay Synced with My Microsoft Exchange Server Mailbox?

Rather than only syncing when you ask it to, you can have the Pocket PC synchronize with the server automatically at scheduled intervals or whenever a new message arrives. Syncing wirelessly will transfer data over your cellular provider’s network so unless you have an unlimited data plan you should be careful about how often you synchronize.

Connect your phone to your PC.

Click Start->Programs->Microsoft ActiveSync.

If requested, select your Outlook profile and log in with your username and password.

In ActiveSync, click Options.

Click the Schedule tab (at the top of the window).

Under Desktop Schedule, next to ‘When connected to my PC’, select how often you want to synchronize your handheld to your PC when it’s connected to your PC.

Under Server Schedule, next to ‘When connected to my PC’, select how often you want to synchronize your handheld to your PC when it’s connected to the server.
