How to Hide and Un-hide BlackBerry Home Screen Icons
Over time many people’s BlackBerrys become cluttered with applications, making it hard to find what you want when you want it. Thankfully, there’s an alternative to removing seldom-used applications: you can hide them! Occasionally one of these hidden applications becomes important and you’ll want to unhide it so you can have easier access to it.
This is how you hide or unhide icons on your BlackBerry device’s home screen.
Go to your BlackBerry home screen.
If you don’t see all the applications listed on your BlackBerry home screen.
Press the “Menu” key to pull down the icon manipulation menu.
Click “Show All”.
This action will show all of your used and hidden (grayed out) application icons on your BlackBerry
Highlight the icon for the application on the home screen that you wish to “Hide”
Press the “Menu” key to pull down the icon manipulation menu. Click “Hide” Application.
Press the “Menu” key again to pull down the icon manipulation menu.
Choose “Show All” to remove the check mark next to Show All
The Brick Breaker Application icon is now hidden on your BlackBerry home screen
To un-hide an application icon, go to your BlackBerry home screen.
Press the “Menu” key to pull down the icon manipulation menu.
Click “Show All”.
Find and highlight the icon application you want to un-hide
For this example, we will un-hide the “BrickBreaker” application icon
Press the “Menu” key to pull down the icon manipulation menu.
Choose “Hide” to remove the check mark next to Hide
The “BrickBreaker” application icon will know show on your BlackBerry home screen
