I Sent an Email on My BlackBerry and Hit Send But it Didn’t Send Yet
There are a couple of reasons why your Blackberry may not be sending messages.
- If there’s a clock icon next to the unsent message, you’re not in coverage. Even if your Blackberry shows coverage, you must be covered by a tower capable of sending data. Not all cellular towers can send data so if a clock appears, try moving to another location. (NOTE: On Sprint phones, make sure the status code reads 1XEV (all capital letters). A lowercase letter ‘X’ indicates no data coverage.)
If there’s a red ‘X’ next to the unsent message, something happened during transmission. Open the message and scroll to the top of it. The message status field will indicate what happened to it. Refer to the FAQ link on the handheld for Sending messages error status codes and their meanings.
